Meet Anna Nilsson, the Founder of Nilsson & Partners
“I grew up in the Swedish countryside, where I learned the values of trust, ownership and resiliency. These qualities, deeply rooted in the Scandinavian culture, have shaped my career and leadership approach. From playing football as a team captain to leading cross-functional teams globally, I’ve witnessed the power of collaboration and leadership to drive meaningful change.”
With dual master’s degrees in mechanical engineering and business administration, Anna Nilsson brings a problem-solving mindset and more than 20 years of experience in the global automotive industry, including leadership roles in blue-chip companies. Her expertise spans customer-centric strategies, cross-cultural team management, and fostering balanced leadership to drive innovation and growth. After spending 18 years in Germany building her career in global leadership, Anna is now based in Switzerland, where she continues to apply her extensive international experience.
As an Executive Sales Leader, Anna ensured that the voice of the customer shaped strategic decisions, fostering high-performing teams that achieved impactful results. Her global career has demonstrated the transformative potential of inclusive leadership and collaboration in driving success.
Anna Nilsson’s approach is inspired by the belief that meaningful growth requires stepping out of comfort zones and embracing challenges. As Albert Einstein said, “A ship is always safe at the shore – but that is not what it is built for.” Today, Anna combines her Scandinavian values with her global experience to deliver Executive Search and Advisory services that empower individuals and organizations to excel and unlock their full potential.
